- x-Cal is an ergonomic scientific calculator, in both portrait and landscape orientations (iPhone 5 and iPhone 4 screens), using RPN (Reverse Polish Notation). x-Calc is made for iPad and iPad Mini.
- Great for professional and educational use
- Quickly develop an understanding of register stack and basic programming
- For example to add 7 and 9, just write 7 ⬆ 9 +, rather than 7 + 12 =
- Instead of writing (1 + 2) x (4 + 5 + 6) =, just type 1 ⬆ 2 + 4 ⬆ 5 + 6 + x
- Use ⬆ (Enter key) to enter consecutive numbers like in 23 ⬆ 77 +
- Shake i-Phone or tap the result area to activate keyboard and SIRI voice recognition for dictation of numbers
- Share calculations and graphs through Facebook, Twitter or e-Mail through the new "share" button
- Typing f FIX 5, or f ENG 3 allows to select fixed, scientific or engineer display format and the number of decimals to display
- Features fixed, scientific or engineer number formats, trigonometric and hyperbolic calculations in radians, degrees or grades, basic statistical computations, linear correlations, combinations, etc.
- Store and recall results using STO <digit>; and RCL <digit> registers. When you are required to type a <digit>, digit keys start wobbling until you select one of them
- Swipe on the top result display area to view the arithmetic register stack, tap on the top to display other registers such as storage register, statistical registers and program steps
- Record programs such as a quadratic equation solver, or display graphs to visualize functions y = f(x)
- Start and stop calculator programming using f R/S key <digit>, type g Run <digit> to execute the program recorded at <digit>. For instance f R/S ⬆ f cos x f R/S 1 will record f(t) = t x sin(t). To visualize the function graph, type: g Graph 1
- Record up to 10 programs or graphs
- Display the logbook of all calculations made with f TEXT. At any time look, copy and paste text style computations into e-Mails, notes, etc.
- Ergonomic user interface featuring blinking indicators for function modes and wobbling digits !
